A vessel page on rynda.io is a full dossier from our vessel knowledge base, not just a dot on the map. For every ship we hold identity, particulars, ownership, class and flag, inspection and sanctions history, plus voyages and port calls. Open it from search, from the map, or via a link from Google.
What a vessel page shows
Identity
- Name and former names, flag and flag-change history — each record carries a "from — to" period. Without signing in you see the latest record of each table; the full timeline opens after free registration — the table says how many records are hidden.
- IMO (with a verified badge), MMSI, call sign.
Particulars
- Type, deadweight (DWT), gross tonnage (GT), dimensions.
- Year built and the builder yard.
Ownership & management
- Registered owner, ship manager / operator.
- Ownership and company history — who owned the ship before and when each role changed hands. Available on PRO and ENTERPRISE plans; the vessel dossier carries this section on any plan.
Class & flag
- Classification society, class notation and class status.
Inspections & risk
- Port State Control (PSC) inspections: when they happened and the result — clean, deficiencies, or detention.
- Sanctions: matches against official sanctions sources by vessel and owner IMO, plus a vessel condition indicator.
Operation
- Trading areas with a map and a 12-month breakdown; the full month-by-month geography history across all years — on PRO and ENTERPRISE.
- Dated port calls, voyage history, live AIS position.
How to use it
- Find a ship by name or IMO in search, or click it on the map.
- Run a quick counterparty due-diligence: owner and manager, class, name/flag history and PSC inspections.
- Check the current position, ETA, port calls and trading areas — where the ship is now and how it usually works.
- Click "Add to fleet" to get alerts for this vessel.
- Look at the "Cargo in the vessel's area" block — compatible cargo close by.
How to move to another vessel
The page header carries a search field — Vessel name or IMO — to the right of the breadcrumbs: type a name or a number, pick a suggestion, and that vessel's page opens — no detour through the map or the global search. More in How to find a vessel or port on the map.
What members get
Signing in unlocks deeper data and actions — alerts for the vessel and messaging the broker about a cargo. Cargo in the vessel's area is visible without signing in. What exactly signing in opens — in Member data and actions.
Tip: add the vessels you care about to your fleet so you don't have to search for them each time.
