A full inspection report lists the port state control deficiencies for every check of a vessel — the nomenclature category, the subject of the deficiency, the port and authority, plus ship certificates with their validity dates. It arrives by email, usually within 30 minutes.
It is a separate product, not part of the vessel dossier. The reason is simple: the deficiencies are not held in advance — they are retrieved for the specific order, which is why the report is delivered asynchronously.
How it differs from the vessel page
The vessel page and the basic dossier show totals: how many inspections, how many deficiencies, whether there was a detention. The full report shows the deficiencies themselves — one line per finding, per inspection.
What is inside
| Section |
What it shows |
| Inspection deficiencies |
date, port and authority, nomenclature category, subject of the deficiency |
| Ship certificates at the time of inspection |
surveys, issuer, issue and expiry dates |
| Everything in the basic dossier |
owners, sanctions screening, particulars, name and flag history |
What the report does not contain. The source records no numeric deficiency codes and no record of actions taken, so we do not print them: an invented value in a paid document is worse than an omission.
How to order
- Open a vessel page and find the Port state control section.
- Press Order the full report — the button sits exactly where the free part ends.
- Enter your email and complete the payment.
- The report arrives by email. You can follow its progress on the order page, which opens right after payment.
The report can also be added to a basic dossier in a single payment. The dossier then arrives immediately and the inspection report follows once it is built.
Payment is not available in your region yet. You can view a sample report and leave a request; we will write to you when it opens.
How long it takes, and what happens if it fails
Normal delivery is within 30 minutes. If the data cannot be retrieved on the first attempt, we retry for two hours.
If that does not help, the order is marked as failed, we are notified, and we decide: retry once more or refund. We never deliver an incomplete report as a full one — that is a rule, not an exception.
Is the report included in a subscription
No, in none of the plans. The monthly quota on paid plans covers the basic dossier only: a full report costs us an external retrieval for every order. It can be bought one-off or in a discounted bundle — see Check bundles.
