A check bundle is N uses of one product, bought in advance and spent whenever you need them. You do not pick vessels at the moment of purchase: deals arrive one at a time, and nobody has the list up front.
Bundles are sold for each of the three documents: vessel dossier, full inspection report, shipowner report.
Sizes and discounts
| Bundle size |
Discount |
| 5 checks |
5% |
| 10 checks |
10% |
The discounts are deliberately modest. The products are inexpensive already, and a deep bundle discount devalues the one-off purchase most people actually use. A bundle should be worth taking without making a single check look like an overpayment.
Payment is not available in your region yet. Bundle sizes and discounts are shown on the pricing page; prices appear where payment is live.
How the checks are owned and when they expire
A bundle belongs to the organisation, not to a person. One member buys, every member spends: the check is used by whoever needs it now, not only by whoever paid.
There is no expiry. The discount is for volume, not for haste: a check with a deadline turns a saving into a trap.
Checks are spent oldest batch first. The balance is shown in the Research section and on the "Checks and plans" card in your account.
How a check is consumed
When you order a document, the system decides what to draw on, in this order:
- The plan's monthly quota, if you have one and it is not used up;
- A purchased check from a bundle;
- A one-off payment, if neither is left.
If the document cannot be built, the check returns to your balance: you will not pay twice for one document.
