Maritime intelligence platform: where a vessel is, whose it is and what it did
Rynda (rynda.io) is a maritime intelligence platform that joins four things in one window: live positions of 100,000+ vessels, alerts on vessel events, due diligence on a vessel and its owner (ownership, sanctions, Port State Control) and a board of cargoes and open tonnage on the same map. It is built for charterers, brokers, shipowners and operators. Prices are public, and the basics are free.

How Rynda differs from enterprise maritime intelligence suites
Enterprise suites are built for analyst teams and are usually sold by quote. Rynda takes the opposite route: the map and the basic vessel record are open without an account, the plans have public prices, and a single document can be bought without a subscription.
Rynda does not replace a commodity-flow analytics platform. It answers the everyday questions of a chartering or operations desk: where the vessel is, what just happened to it, who stands behind it and whether there is a cargo for it.

Maritime intelligence: questions and answers
What is maritime intelligence?
Maritime intelligence is information about vessels, their owners, ports and cargo, gathered from AIS positions, ship registries, sanctions lists and Port State Control records. It is used to decide which vessel to fix, which counterparty to trust and when a ship will arrive.
What is a maritime intelligence platform used for?
For three everyday jobs: following vessels and getting alerts on their events, checking a vessel and its owner before a deal, and finding a cargo or an open vessel.
Who uses Rynda?
Charterers and brokers, who need vessel positions and open tonnage next to cargoes; shipowners and operators, who follow their fleet through alerts; and anyone who checks a counterparty before a fixture.
How much does Rynda cost?
The map, port pages and vessel pages are free. A free account covers 3 vessels. PRO is $59 a month for 10 vessels, ENTERPRISE starts at $259 a month for 50 vessels. Documents are sold one at a time, from $12.99.
Does Rynda include sanctions screening?
Yes. A vessel is matched against 8 official sanctions lists by its own IMO number and by the IMO numbers of its owner and managers. The verdict is visible without an account.
Where does the data come from?
Positions come from AIS, the signal vessels broadcast themselves. Ownership, sanctions and inspection records come from public registries and regulators’ lists, and the vessel page links to the official sources.
