Company verification and trust badges

Company verification is a document check of your legal entity that adds the "Verified" badge to your profile on marketplace cards and in chat.

Verification does not lock or unlock sections: every registered member sees all marketplace listings and can message any counterparty in the built-in chat. The badge tells the other side who they are dealing with.

Which badges do counterparties see?

In the chat header the other side sees "Individual", or "Company" with a "Verified" or "Not verified" badge. Listing cards on the Cargo and Vessels boards show "Company" or "Individual", and a verified company gets a "Verified" mark.

What works without verification?

• Viewing all listings: cargo, vessels for charter, vessel search, time charter.
• Responding to a listing and messaging the counterparty in chat. New chats are limited to 5 per day and 20 in total; the limit lifts once the account is verified and older than a week, or on the PRO or ENTERPRISE plan of My Fleet.
• Posting requests and using My Fleet.

Chat rules apply to everyone: contact details, company names and external links are not allowed in messages — a message containing them will not be sent.

How do I get verified?

1. In the cabinet, open Account → Company: it holds the "Company details" card with the review status and the "Verification documents" block.
2. Upload the documents from the list: pick the document type, attach the file (PDF, image or office format, up to 10 MB) and press "Upload". The list depends on where and how the company is registered — typically a Certificate of Incorporation (or an extract from the commercial register) and proof of signatory authority: a board resolution appointing the director, or a power of attorney.
3. Wait for the review: we usually check within a working day. Once approved, the status changes to "Verified", the badge appears automatically, and you get an email.

An individual account is upgraded to a company account on the same page: fill in "Become a company" and press "Switch to a company account" — the documents block then appears.

Verification is not a gate pass but a reputation signal: counterparties reply more often when your company is confirmed.
