Account suspended: what to do

Category: AccountUpdated October 9, 2026

A suspended account on rynda.io is an account you cannot sign in to until support lifts the suspension. If the suspension is a mistake, reply to the suspension email or write to support@rynda.io from the address the account is registered to. The account data is kept.

Why an account gets suspended

Rynda protects the vessel catalogue from automated collection. If an account opens vessel pages at the pace of a script rather than a person, the account is suspended automatically. Normal use — a person looking up and tracking vessels — runs at a pace far below the level that triggers the protection.

The Rynda team can also suspend an account manually, for example for abuse of the service. In that case the same email arrives and you appeal the same way.

How to tell that an account is suspended

  • You are signed out. The sign-in page shows the message "This account has been suspended. If this is a mistake, write to support@rynda.io".
  • You cannot sign in. Signing in with a password, an email code or an email link is refused with the same message.
  • You get the email "Your rynda.io account has been suspended". The sender is no-reply@rynda.io; a reply to the email goes to support.

How to restore access

  1. Open the mailbox the account is registered to.
  2. Reply to the email "Your rynda.io account has been suspended", or write to support@rynda.io from that same address.
  3. Describe how you use the service.

A person reviews the request and restores access if the suspension was wrong.

What happens to the account data

A suspension does not delete the account or its data: your fleet, alerts and purchases are kept. Once access is restored, everything is as it was before the suspension.

What happens on a paid plan

An account on a paid plan is not suspended automatically. If it opens an unusual number of vessel pages in a short time, instead of a vessel page you temporarily see the message "You have opened too many vessel pages in a short time. Try again later, or write to support@rynda.io". The Rynda team looks at such cases. Access to vessel pages returns on its own after a while. If you need to work with large lists of vessels, write to support.

What to do if you need data on many vessels

Instead of collecting it automatically, write to support@rynda.io and describe the task.
