How to delete your account and data

Your account is deleted on request to support, sent from the address the account is registered to. The data tied to the account goes with it: your fleet, alerts, watchlist and view history.

How to request deletion

Open the Create ticket form. If you are signed in, your name and address are filled in for you; if not, enter the same email the account is registered to in the Email field.
Set Category to Account and write "Delete account" in the Subject field.
In the Message field, confirm that you are asking for the account to be deleted, and submit the ticket.

The reply arrives by email at the same address. The thread stays open under My tickets.

What is deleted

Profile and contacts — name, email, phone, company details, billing details, uploaded documents.
My Fleet — vessels, your notes on them, alert rules and your own areas on the map.
Watchlist and views — saved objects, and the vessels, companies and ports you looked at.
Access — password, active sessions, Telegram connection.

What stays

Billing records. Invoices and receipts are kept for as long as tax law requires.
Messages on the other side. The counterparty sees the chat too, so the thread stays with them.
Deal history at the counterparty. Your listings are unpublished; if a deal ran on a listing, its history stays with the other side.
Anonymised activity records — without your name or contacts. Retention periods are in the privacy policy.

How long it takes

We reply to the request by email. The account profile is removed within 30 days of the account going inactive, as set out in the retention table of the privacy policy.

Before you write

Turn off auto-renewal if you have an active subscription, so the next charge does not go through.
Save what you need. Your fleet, notes and view history cannot be restored after deletion.
Crewing is separate. The crewing account is its own: if you posted a CV or a vacancy there, ask for it to be deleted in a separate ticket.
