Are there any time limits
One: you can follow a particular vessel in real time for 30 minutes. After that its position freezes and its card reads "Updates for this vessel are paused". Nothing else is affected — other vessels, ports, search and the calculators keep working.
A free account lifts the limit. More often, though, what you actually need is what comes with it: add the vessel to My Fleet and a port-arrival alert reaches you by email or Telegram, with no tab to keep open.
How many vessels refresh for free
When you open a vessel we go and fetch its freshest fix. Without an account that happens for three different vessels per 30 days.
Once the allowance is spent nothing disappears: the card still shows the name, particulars, track and the last known position with its age. Only the position stops refreshing. Opening vessel cards stays unlimited — the counter tracks refreshes, not how many vessels you looked at.
A free account removes the counter entirely.
Why register
An account is free and unlocks the essentials — contacting a counterparty and monitoring a fleet. Without it you can see the data but can't act on it.
How to register
Click "Sign in" → "Create account", enter your email and confirm it via the link. Choosing a role (shipowner, broker, charterer) tailors the interface to you.
Tip: start with the map and the vessel page you need — the app will prompt you to register at the exact moment it's required.
