The free trial is 7 days of the PRO plan at no cost and with no card: you start it in one click and use every PRO feature. One trial per account.
What is included
- Every PRO feature, the same as a paid subscription: up to 10 vessels in your fleet, 50 alert rules and 15 zones, all alert types, 30 days of voyage and port call history.
- One vessel dossier for the whole trial: the monthly PRO quota (1 dossier) starts with the first payment; the shipowner report is not part of the trial.
- The term is 7 days from the start. The end date is shown on Plans and billing and in the email that confirms the start.
The trial is available on PRO only. ENTERPRISE starts with a payment — see Plans compared for what it includes.
How to start
- Open Account → Plans and billing.
- On the PRO card, press Start 7-day free trial. The line under the button confirms that no card and no payment are needed; Subscribe now instead, below it, goes straight to checkout if you would rather not wait out the trial.
- The plan switches at once: a green notice above the plans says PRO trial is on. Nothing to pay now, with a Go to my fleet button. The PRO card shows Trial until the end date, and a confirmation email arrives.
You do not have to wait out the trial to subscribe: Subscribe now instead under the trial button opens the checkout for the period you picked.
You can also start from the Try PRO free for 7 days button on a vessel page (under the voyage and port call history) or on the home page: it starts the trial right away.
What happens when it ends
- Two days before the end date you get a reminder email, and a notice appears at the top of your account pages and on Plans and billing: Your PRO trial ends on {date}. It spells out what changes on the free plan — up to 3 vessels (down from 10) and the latest 2 voyages and 3 port calls (down from 30 days of history) — and how many of your vessels will be frozen. Its Keep PRO for $59/mo button takes you straight to checkout.
- Nothing is charged automatically — there is no card on file and the plan does not renew by itself.
- You can subscribe before the trial ends and lose nothing: press Subscribe early on the PRO card, under Trial until {date}, and your paid period starts when the trial ends.
- If you do not pay, the account moves to the free plan and you get an email saying so. Vessels over the free limit of 3 are frozen: they stay in your list, greyed out, but their position, history and alerts stop updating. The vessels added last stay live, and the email names the frozen ones.
- For 30 days Plans and billing shows Your PRO trial ended on {date} with a Get PRO back for $59/mo button, and the plan header reads Trial ended {date}. On other pages you can close the notice with ×.

Who cannot start a trial
- Accounts that have already used a trial.
- Accounts with an active or previously paid subscription.
