Numerous changes to charted detail have taken place within the Port of Abu Qr (31 19,45 N - 30 04,55 E), in its approaches (31 19,00 N - 30 04,77 E) and within the North Abu Qir Gas Field (31 34,93 N - 30 10,46 E). The most significant are as follows : 2. The waiting area, centred on position 31 22,58 N - 30 05,07 E, has been moved to an area joining the following positions (WGS84 DATUM) : 31 23,22 N - 30 03,33 E ; 31 23,22 N - 30 05,23 E ; 31 22,45 N - 30 05,23 E ; 31 22,45 N - 30 03,33 E. a) The pilot boarding point in position 31 22,60 N - 30 05,06 E has been moved to position 31 22,65 N - 30 05,34 E. b) A north cardinal light-buoy, VQ.5s, has been established in position 31 22,15 N - 30 06,38 E. 3. A safe water light-buoy, Fl.4s, has been established in position 31 22,23 N - 30 05,38 E. 4. Extensive dredging has taken place within the Port of Abu Qir and its approaches. a) A dredged channel, depth 16 m, has been established along the buoyed approach channel to Abu Qir, joining the following positions (WGS84 DATUM) : 31 21,87 N - 30 05,94 E ; 31 20,03 N - 30 05,34 E ; 31 19,48 N - 30 04,94 E. b) An underwater rock enclosed by a danger line in position 31 20,60 N - 30 05,49 E no longer exists. c) A new breakwater has been established, joining the following positions (WGS84 DATUM) : 31 20,05 N - 30 04,68 E ; 31 20,20 N - 30 04,68 E ; 31 20,31 N - 30 05,03 E. 5. Depths less than charted exist in the following positions (WGS84 DATUM) : Depth Position 18,9 m 31 28,11 N - 30 09,20 E ; 9,8 m 31 22,76 N - 30 11,38 E ; 7,9 m 31 20,46 N - 30 10,42 E ; 9,1 m 31 21,18 N - 30 09,67 E. 6. A 10,2 m depth exists in position 31 20,47 N - 30 09,45 E. The charted 8,5 m depth in this position no longer exists. 7. A pilot boarding point has been established in position 31 22,59 N - 30 16,05 E. 8. The NAQP-III platform in position 31 35,29 N - 30 10,08 E has been moved to position 31 35,93 N - 30 10,25 E. Existing submarine pipelines have been extended to connect with it. 9.
