16 28-T-08. TURKEY. Marmara Denizi - Çanakkale to Istanbul. — Routeing measures. (Taunton, 16-3548(T)) 1. Due to seismic survey operations in the northern part of Marmara Denizi, a temporary two-way route has been established, bounded by the following positions (WGS84 Datum) : 40 40,30 N — 28 30,00 E ; 40 40,30 N — 27 55,00 E ; 40 43,70 N — 27 42,40 E ; 40 43,85 N — 27 38,25 E ; 40 42,35 N — 27 30,00 E ; 40 39,50 N — 27 30,00 E ; 40 41,20 N — 27 37,50 E ; 40 41,00 N — 27 40,25 E ; 40 37,40 N — 27 53,25 E ; 40 37,40 N — 28 30,00 E. 2. A precautionary area for vessels within 6 M of the eastern end of the two-way route has been reported to be temporarily established. 3. Vessels navigating in the area are strongly recommended to use the temporary two-way route and to follow warnings of TSVTS between the straits of Istanbul and Çanakkale. 4.
