15 47-P-09. COLOMBIA. Caribbean Sea Coast. Bahía de Cartegena and Bocachica S. — Buoyage. Obstructions. Depths. (Taunton, 15-5857 (P)) 1 - The channel south of Bocachica has been widened and dredged to a minimum of 20 metres in the area between lateral buoys,’3’, ’4’, ’9’ and ’10’. 2 - Within the channel south of Bocachica there are obstructions of depth 20 metres in the following positions: 10 19,004 N - 75 34,752 W. 10 19,013 N - 75 34,673 W. 10 18,990 N - 75 34,544 W. 10 18,994 N - 75 34,430 W. 3 - The channel west of Punta Manzanillo in Cartagena harbour in the area between cardinal buoy ‘VN’, and lateral buoys ‘34’,‘39’ and ‘40’ has been dredged and widened. 4 - The positions of buoyage in the channel west of Punta Manzanillo have been amended: Buoy designation Position ’37’ 10 23,85 N - 75 32,40 W. ’38’ 10 23,77 N - 75 32,30 W. 5 - The following Pillar buoys have been removed: Special buoy Fl(5)Y.20s in position 10 19,59 N - 75 36,58 W. Isolated danger buoy Fl(2)5s in position 10 21,08 N - 75 32,17 W. 6 - The channel into Contecar Terminal has been deepened. The most significant depths are: Depth Position 13.7m 10 22,54N - 75 30,94W. 13.4m 10 22,79N - 75 30,74W. 13.7m 10 22,60N - 75 30,67W. 7 - Mariners are requested to navigate with caution in these areas and consult local authorities for the latest information.
