Remplacés. 1 — The limits and depths of the maintained channels have been changed and new dredged areas have been established. 2 — The leading lights on Elephanta Island have changed to bearing 058° and lights moved as follows : Q.22m moved from 18 57,60 N — 72 56,01 E to 18 57,52 N — 72 56,00 E. Q.12m moved from 18 57,41 N — 72 55,71 E to 18 57,38 N — 72 55,77 E. 3 — The leading lights on Sheva Island have been amended as follows : New rear light, Iso.R.6s66m, established in position 18 56,85 N — 72 57,72 E. The characteristics of light, Iso.R.6s66m in position 18 56,83 N — 72 57,49 E have changed to Q.R. The characteristics of light, Q.R.54m in position 18 56,71 N — 72 56,32 E have changed to F.R.54m. 4 — Works to expand the Pir Pau Jetty in approximate position 18 58,58 N — 72 54,93 E and the NSICT Container Berth in approximate position 18 57,85 N — 72 57,05 E are complete. 5 — Buoys have been removed from the following positions : Buoy type Position F light-buoy, Q.R 18 58,03 N — 72 56,77 E Mooring buoy 18 59,37 N — 72 57,05 E Mooring buoy 18 59,44 N — 72 57,24 E 6. The harbour limit between the Port of Mumbai and Jawahar Lal Nehru Port has been amended and now joins the following positions : 18 58,29 N — 72 56,26 E ; (shore) 18 58,46 N — 72 56,26 E ; 19 00,88 N — 72 58,24 E ; 19 01,49 N — 72 57,20 E. (shore) The harbour limits joining the following positions no longer exist 18 58,30 N — 72 56,28 E ; (shore) 19 00,86 N — 72 56,28 E ; (shore) and 19 00,86 N — 72 56,28 E ; (shore) 19 00,22 N — 72 57,70 E. (existing limit) 7 — Mariners are advised to navigate with caution in the area and to consult the local port authorities for further information. 8 — These changes will be included in the next New Editions of Charts 2630 and 2622.
