15 18-P-09. SAUDI ARABIA. East Coast - Approaches to Ad Dammam (Mina al Malik 'Abd al 'Aziz). — Dredged areas. Buoyage. Works. (Taunton, 15-2091 (P)) Référence: Avis 13 21-P-19. Remplacé. 1 — Dredging works to deepen the Ad Dammam Approach Channel 26 37,00 N — 50 14,50 E, the Holding Anchorage 26 32,90 N — 50 10,45 E, and the northern part of the West Basin 26 30,30 N — 50 11,65 E are in progress until further notice. 2 — Dredging and reclamation works are in progress in the King Fahd Ship Repair Yard Basin 26 29,25 N — 50 12,75 E. 3 — Buoyage may be moved while dredging works are in progress and the limits of the above areas may be temporarily changed. 4 — A special light buoy, Q.Y. Y2, has been established in position 26 30,61 N — 50 12,67 E to mark the limit of the dredged area. 5 — Works are in progress to construct a new container terminal within the West Basin joining the following positions: 26 30,29 N — 50 11,52 E ; 26 31,50 N — 50 11,80 E. 6 — Mariners should contact "Dammam Port Control" on Channel 16 for further instructions before entering the approach channel. 7 — Mariners are advised to exercise extreme caution and to obey signals exhibited by the dredgers. 8 — Chart will be updated when the works are complete.
