There have been numerous changes to existing charted detail in the vicinity of Puerto de la Bahía de las Minas and in the outer approaches to Puerto Cristóbal. The most significant of these are listed as follows: 2. Depths less than charted exist in the following positions: 11,5 m : 9 25,423 N — 79 50,335 W ; 1,8 m : 9 18,65 N — 80 01,88 W ; 1,1 m : 9 22,08 N — 79 58,98 W ; 6 m : 9 26,64 N — 79 48,17 W ; 8,1 m : 9 29,11 N — 79 44,62 W ; 1,6 m : 9 30,20 N — 79 42,56 W ; 18,9 m : 9 31,23 N — 79 42,43 W ; 12,9 m : 9 32,67 N — 79 42,35 W ; 1,4 m : 9 36,97 N — 79 38,32 W ; 18,5 m : 9 37,60 N — 79 36,66 W ; 12,5 m : 9 37,25 N — 79 27,92 W ; 12,8 m : 9 36,99 N — 79 27,64 W. 3. Changes to buoyage positions have taken place in the approach channel to Puerto de la Bahía de las Minas. 4. Submarine cables have been laid between the following positions: 9 21,88 N — 79 57,88 W ; (shore) 9 24,51 N — 79 59,04 W ; 9 30,51 N — 79 59,48 W. and 9 21,79 N — 79 58,64 W ; (shore) 9 44,80 N — 79 41,82 W. (All positions are referred to WGS84 Datum). 5. Mariners are advised to navigate with caution in the area. 6. These changes will be included in a New Edition of Chart 1400 to be published 6th March 2014.
