Qatar’s Ministry of Transport has announced the completion of automation for 11 new services in the maritime transportation sector, which are now accessible electronically via the ministry’s official website. The new e‑services include issuing and amending the Continuous Synopsis Record (CSR), deleting ships from the registry, transferring vessel ownership, issuing certificates of non‑encumbrance, replacing lost documents, registering and releasing ship mortgages, arranging insurance for oil pollution damage liability, and various certificates and sea protest services.
