Singaporean shipbuilder Strategic Marine has announced the delivery of Putri Mayang Sari, the first of three 43‑metre high‑speed passenger catamarans being built for Bintan Resort Ferries (BRF). The vessel was named and handed over on August 12 at Strategic Marine’s Singapore yard, following keel‑laying in September 2025. Constructed in aluminium, the catamaran is designed to carry several hundred passengers on short‑sea routes between Singapore and Indonesia’s Bintan Island, a major regional resort destination.
