South Korea’s TotalSoftBank has unveiled SLAM‑based autonomous port transport equipment and integrated data, communication and control systems at the K‑ICT WEEK in BUSAN 2026, highlighting a new generation of smart‑port mobility driven by AI and automation. The technologies, developed under a national smart‑port R&D program, aim at commercial deployment in Korean container terminals and deeper integration into digital logistics platforms.
TotalSoftBank (TSB) has set up an independent booth at the “K‑ICT WEEK in BUSAN 2026” exhibition at BEXCO, where it is displaying SLAM‑based autonomous port transport equipment alongside data relay, communication and central operation‑control solutions tailored for smart‑port mobility. According to Korean industry reports, the company’s systems are part of a government‑backed core technology development project to strengthen the competitiveness of the national smart‑port industry, led by the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries. During the three‑day exhibition, TSB is also hosting a conference focused on smart‑port mobility and “Physical AI,” exploring mid‑ to long‑term development paths to increase automation of cargo‑handling operations and to link mobile equipment directly with digital logistics platforms.
