Container line CMA CGM has notified customers that the NSFT terminal in India is implementing an Automated Gate and Container Movement System to enhance operational efficiency and reduce delays at truck entry and exit points. The new setup introduces digital cargo registration, automated truck access control and integration with the terminal operating system, cutting down on paper-based processes and manual data entry. Gate automation is presented as a key step toward a fully digital management of container flows through the port, improving real-time visibility of movements within the yard.
