The São Sebastião Dock Company has introduced a new Port Community System (PCS) at the Port of São Sebastião in São Paulo state, creating a shared digital environment for companies, public agencies and port operators. The platform enables real‑time monitoring of processes and documents, cuts manual steps and paper use, and aims to make cargo flows more predictable and transparent.
The Port of São Sebastião on Brazil’s northern São Paulo coast has rolled out a Port Community System designed to digitally connect the main stakeholders involved in port operations. Developed by the São Sebastião Dock Company, the PCS aggregates information from companies, public entities and port operators into a single platform, giving users real‑time visibility over logistics processes and related documents. In its initial phase, the system already counts about 50 participating companies, 47 registered users and more than 1,000 transactions.
